PAT'S LETTER'S FROM IRAQ

We would like to announce the Patrick will be taking a break from the Dunkles & Jaffa
Cakes Team in order to work as a Civilian Contractor in Iraq for the next 12 months.

Since retiring form the United States Air Force about 4 years ago, Patrick has been
working as the President of McGinnis & Associates, a court reporting/videography
service company.  Now his calling is overseas where our troops need his expertise in
electronics.

We will all miss Patrick not only as a fellow beer aficianado, but as our best friend,
damn excellent harmonica player, and just a good all-around nice guy!  During his time
away from the States, we will try to post updates and notes from Patrick on this page to
keep you up-to-date on his time overseas.

We will all be praying for his safe return sometime in early 2009.

Take care Patrick and God Bless!

I asked Tracy to send the harmonicas that are in my belt in
the back of my car. I don't know how soon I will get them, but
every Sunday we have an open mic jam session here and I
have already sung karaoke twice.

I now have groupies. I am going to start guitar lessons on
Thursdays. Other than that all I do is work, sleep and eat.

I will try to call again later.

You take care. Tell everyone I said Hi.

December 27, 2007 (excepts from a letter to Colleen)

Hello from Tikrit, Iraq...What a Hellhole. This place is barren
and looks like the surface of the moon.  Dust and rocks and
brownish tan everywhere you look.  Not a green tree or blade
of grass to be found.

Work reminds me of a chaingang.  We get on a bus to cross
the desolate base.  No one says much because we're all
tired.  We work our 12 hours and get back on the bus to
make the trip back to our cell.

We have limited phone access.  You may have to wait on
hour for a 20 minute call or 30 minute Internet connection,
which is super slow.

I hope you had a nice Christmas.  It is nice to have all the
family together during the holidays or whenever.  I really
appreciate the going away get-together.  That is a great
memory to have.

Take care and thanks for all your help
